Mr Anil R Banerjee is an ENT Consultant & Balance Specialist at University Hospitals of Leicester and runs private dizzy clinics in the Midlands and London.
He lectures both locally and nationally. He was a cofounder of the first Balance Course for ENT Consultants and Registrars at the Royal College of Surgeons. He has taught many ENT doctors on balance problems and continues to lecture on this course each year. He also lectures on the Leicester Balance Course as well as on the National GP Special Interest Course each year in Bradford. He is a Council Member and Secretary for the British Society of Otology, and has served two terms on the Specialist Advisory Committee for ENT representing first trainees, and then young consultants. His peers have recently voted him on to the BSO Council for a second term. He has previously provided advice on medical treatment to the Department of Health, the BBC, BUPA and various publications.
Mr Banerjee set up and edited the ENT Educational journal ‘The Otorhinolaryngologist’ as well as being a founder member of The British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons. He continues on the editorial board as Section Editor for Otology (ear and balance problems). He has written over 70 research and clinical papers as well as reviews and book chapters.
